The Hourglass Timer app offers a visually appealing experience, without any advertisements or unnecessary permissions. This app proves to be incredibly useful for a variety of situations, including board games, kitchen timing, and managing children's bedtimes.
One of the standout features of this app is the ability to operate up to eight sand timers simultaneously. Each timer is uniquely color-coded and can be easily selected on the left side of the screen.
Another notable feature is the incorporation of the accelerometer. By simply turning your device upside down, you can effortlessly reverse the time and reset the timer. However, users also have the option to disable this feature if desired.
Users have complete control over setting the countdown time, ranging from as short as one second to an extensive 83 days. Furthermore, it is possible to personalize the timer names, and these changes will be saved for future use of the app.
In terms of convenience, notifications are provided for timers that finish while the app is not open, ensuring that users are always aware when their desired time has elapsed.
